I have the same issue James. I also received this email from them and are still waiting for them to sort. Wrong plant sent not what I wanted but doesn鈥檛 look like they are bothered.

Sorry to follow up on my saga. So we are 5 weeks after payment, over 拢60 worth of plants not delivered, Multiple queries raised, eventually had one response…..cut and pasted below… so I have to be patient (5 weeks is more than patient) and "someone will respond as best possible". I mean what does that even mean?

If I could have given 0 I would have done. Ordered plants whilst in lockdown. Naturally had to wait longer than anticipated because of said climate. When bulbs did eventually arrive I potted them. Bulbs have now established and they aren't what I ordered. I emailed Garden Express with my order number and photos of now established plants. Whilst they were quick to initially reply stating they could identify plant from the photos I sent – ah hello I ordered lillies you have sent me gladiolis – they are now refusing to answer any further emails. Stay away – this company is a disgraceful

Customer service a complete wast of time, complained with photos of the state some of my Begonias arrived in. Kept getting palmed off about covid 19 which I understood and was prepared to be patient that was 4th July. I asked for an update twice and got same reply back so its obvious covid 19 is not really an excuse now its 20th September and they just have very poor customer service. I will not be buying from them again since they are unable to sort an amicable solution when you receive damaged goods on arrival.

Well have allready written a review that garden express said 'how do we even no you are a customer' so sent them ALL my details plus ref numbers plus tickets that I have raised and surprise surprise gone VERY QUIET. Do not buy from them even though they are stil advertising on various sites still sending me emails for offers BUT AS YET NOT EVEN A PHONE CALL.

I have made allowances for the disruption that Covid-19 has caused but my experience with Garden Express has been horrendous. I ordered some plants in April and obviously there was going to be a delay but after a very prolonged period they arrived but not before I had communicated with this company untold amount of times just to be ignored the plants did arrive but they were rotten. I immediately contacted the company not once but loads of times, send us a photo I was told which I did just to be ignored once again, I sent another photo followed by another but to to avail Garden express have totally ignored the fact that there was a problem with the order and in effect have refused to reimburse me with the money I paid them for the plants. I hold out no hope of ever sorting out this problem but to other gardeners my advise would be to avoid this company if they are looking for quality plants and service. When I wrote this review I had half expected for Garden Express to get off their backsides and deal with the refund that is owing to me. I have previously given this company good reviews but of all the online companies that I have dealt with during Covid-19 they have come out bottom. I'm owed 拢17-93 for the rotten plants and I have threatened them endlessly that I would seek the refund by other means. I have sent them photographic evidence but it all amounts to the same they have chosen to dismiss my claim but eventually they will have to pay up but in the meantime it is my duty to explain to other online customers be careful of this company.

Not even worth 1star, Do NOT buy from this company, they are rubbish! take your money then hide behind Covid 19 when they don鈥檛 supply.
I have asked them for a refund after speaking to Trading Standards, received no response, DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT BUYING FROM THEM

I can only agree with all the other negative comments, a dreadful company to have traded with. They have no affinity or respect for their customers, I Cannot imagine anyone ever returning. Having received dreadful quality plants I raised one of their "tickets" but other than the standard electronic response, nothing more has been heard. Their guarantee is worthless.

If I could I鈥檇 give NO STARS – contacting my credit card company to see about a refund – WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! DO NOT BUY!!! They cannot be contacted – no phone number and online chat disabled, plants arrived dead (cost拢100) can鈥檛 return as no courtier will collect due to plants being on the prohibited list – easy money for complete cowboy traders – STAY AWAY!!!

Do not buy from these thieves
Took our money on 21 May delivered 9 to June, plants in a terrible state, still waiting for a refund our even a reply
Have reported them to trading standards
Do not give them a penny of your hard earned cash

Late delivery, one plant arrived dead. Plants badly pruned to fit in parcel. They give you 24 hours to cancel order and take all the time in the world to deliver. Recommendation: don鈥檛 buy

Order placed on 1 May, with the web-site describing all items to be in stock. Still no plants 8 weeks later.
No meaningful response to tickets when raised.

Total shambles of a company.
You are not able to contact this company by phone, they ignore emails and say what you wish on their facebook page, seems they just do not care.

Over 3 months waiting for a 拢20 buddleia which turned up 2 foot smaller than what I ordered, bone dry and almost dead wrapped in a carrier bag and the box was destroyed.

Do yourself a favour and spend your money elsewhere. This company is a total scam

I placed a very large order on 19th April 2020, and as yet had no communication from their ticket system asking for a full refund, (6 times and no response.) This is the worse & appalling customer service I have ever dealt with. It鈥檚 so frustrating as we are being totally ignored.
I am going to do the same and report them to trading standards.
Up date I have contacted Citizens Advice and Gardening Express are in breach of their contract.
I will be writing to them immediately.

Garden 鈥渨e don鈥檛 give a damn now we have your money鈥?Express, Well what can I say that hundreds of customers have not already said…..nothing really!
Totally got the fact while we鈥檙e in lockdown it was hard to get orders out, SO WHY TAKE MORE ORDER'S?? I ordered my plants on the 12th April over 拢100 worth, after several tickets (only two replied too) my part order (as YODEL DRIVER couldn鈥檛 be bothered to bring the whole order in one go!)arrived today.
8 weeks and counting as I鈥檓 still waiting for two different plants!
Garden Express you blamed your poor service on the Cornavirus and yet it was your greed that let you down. No communication, via email or other. You promised several times to get my order to me then changed it! Your Founder Chris told lies about closing the orders line & delivery dates!
As for the plants I have here today, their dry, half dead, buttered, broken & to be quite honest NOT WORTH THE MONEY!

So this is to all future customers…….SAVE YOUR MONEY & AVOID GARDEN 鈥測ou must be joking鈥?EXPRESS!!!

Reluctant to give even 1 Star
Placed order on the 6th May and not yet dispatched. Cannot constantly blame the current situation or at the very least they should have stopped accepting orders until they catch up!
Very limited communication although they could tell me I can鈥檛 cancel my order??? Citing an automated system!!!!!! And now ignoring my emails.
I will not be accepting delivery and will be seeking further advice and taking action.
I believe they think if they ignore me the problem will go away…. it won鈥檛. And definitely not with so many unhappy customers.
Just cancel my order and refund MY money. If you want to save your business and salvage your reputation.

And please note. POSITIVE reviews have been invited, SUSPICIOUS???????

Do not buy from this company. They mis-sell plants. What they offer are tiny unhealthy, sometimes dead plants. No telephone numbers on website, no communications. They are a total disgrace and it's shameful that they can call themselves a garden centre or suppliers of plants. I'm embarrassed for anyone associated with this company.

I wish I could give 0 stars. Also wish I'd looked at trust pilot before placing my order! Took my money, over a month later no plants and my account still says "processing". No phone contact and emails just get an automated response saying delivery may take up to 15 days. They appear to be dishonestly taking orders with no ability to deliver. I have raised a dispute via my credit card company. Shame on you garden express!

Wish I could give 0 stars – I posted on here earlier in the week with 1 star.

Having waited weeks and weeks, some plants have now arrived, but a whole box of plants missing. Of the ones which have arrived 1 plant and a pack of roots look okay, the others are shocking – either half dead or nowhere near the size or description as advertised. I've raised a Ticket on the site, and uploaded plenty of photos, so let's see how long it takes to get a refund. I won't hesitate to report this company to Trading Standards if I have any problems.

Christopher Bonnett WHO OWNS BONNETTS GARDEN VILLAGE ALSO OWNS AN ONLINE GARDEN STORE CALLED GARDENING EXPRESS AND HE HAS FACEBOOK PAGES FOR BOTH. THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND DON'T SUPPLY THE GOODS.

Ordered 8 th April for my mother鈥檚 birthday. Money taken from my account. 9 th May still no plant and no way to contact this company. Obviously using customers money as interest free loans.
